The Student Thesis Company and The Erasmus Project
The Erasmus Project (European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) is a European Union student exchange programme, established in 1987, and assists with student exchanges. Although some students organise their own periods of study in the UK, the vast majority do so with Erasmus. The programme currently operates in 31 countries.
The UK comes second in the world, after the United States, for students who require high quality university education in English. Postgraduate studies include a full range of courses, such as biotechnology, computer science and engineering. After all, where else better to study English than in the UK?
For many European students, the Erasmus Project is their first time living and studying abroad. The programme fosters not only learning and understanding of the host country, but also a sense of community among students from different countries.
University tutors are often keen for students of subjects, such as Politics or International Relations, to participate in Erasmus. It is seen as a great opportunity to study abroad while not having the expense of studying outside the European Union, as the grants available to Erasmus students are not available to those choosing to study outside Europe. Having Erasmus on a curriculum vitae is seen as being very positive, and those who participate in the programme are often considered as more employable than those who do not.
Over the last few years, the Student Thesis Company has supported many students from European countries who are involved in the Erasmus Project and studying in UK Universities. They feel secure in the knowledge that their work has been professionally proofread and edited to exclude grammatical errors and omissions, and that their written work truly reflects their academic ability - even when expressed in a second language.
